I would like to encourage everyone, especially senior citizens and veteran families, to file the necessary paperwork in order to receive their economic stimulus payment. Households have until October 15th to fill out a tax return; over 5.2 million households, including 439,000 New York households, have not claimed their rebate check.
If You Haven't Yet Filed a Tax Return
If you haven’t filed a federal tax return to claim your economic stimulus payment, you have until Oct. 15 to file to get your payment this year. Find out more if you:
